This place is pretty good. The food was hot and fresh. The only negative review I have is the chips. Some of the chips was stale. I'm guessing from sitting out for a while. But other then that, the food was good.

One bite my husband and I both knew it wasn't beef. Paid $22 for what looked and probably taste like Alpo. Spoke to owner and he was rude guess because his food sucks.

Great place to eat Mexican food

I love taking my daughter here. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the food is delicious. I always end up leaving with a "to go box" so the portions are generous. My favorite item on the menu is the chilly relleno, but everything I have had I have enjoyed. If you have choosey kids that will eat chicken fingers Old Mexico's are delicious.

Waiting service is fairly prompt, but food doesn't taste very fresh. Hot plate for a burrito or enchilada, equals microwaved. Fajitas weren't bad, but most everything else is served and tastes like it has been pulled out of microwave.

It was my first time coming here expecting to be good and it wasn’t. It took 25 minutes to get the food. The food was okay. They charge $2.50 if you want more chips and salsa each time. I have never heard of that. Would not recommend nor go back.

Wasnt the worst, but definitely not the best. No limes for a Mexican Restaurant? Food brought out in intervals for a table of 6. Staff acted like they didn't want anyone to come in and male money. Probably won't be back if we don't have to.

I have never met better people than this family! When we walk in they bring my husband I chips and salsa and then my 3 year old gets his own because they know how much he loves it. The food is always good and priced well. We dont go anywhere else for Mexican!

Great local Mexican restaurant!

The place is very clean and tidy, there is not a long wait time, unless it's crowded as heck! And if you go there often, like my Aunt and Uncle do, then they'll remember you on the spot! They don't even have to order! Unless we're there.

Amazing!!! The service was great and food was delicious. For myself and my son with a soda for me my total was 14.95. Awesome price! Very clean . defiantly plan on returning

I have eaten at this place for 22 yrs and I absolutely love the food but here lately I have to wait way to long to be seated and end up seating myself, wait forever to take my drink order (so be ready to place food order at the same time). Wait for refills and wait on ticket. Food is good but please hire help or something cause its miserable having to wait ever time I come!!

First bite- found a literal rock in the enchilada beef. When I showed the waiter, he shrugged.The enchilada sauce was cold, slime-y, and tasted tangy.Food came out fast but was all cold and bad. Don't come here- ignore all the local reviews about good service and good food. They clearly have hometown bias, or no taste for edible food.

Best Mexican restaurant in Covington County, good comfortable family atmosphere, operated by the same family for many years. Had excellent enchiladas, tostada, taco, and cheese dip. Good sweet iced tea, Restaurant was clean and staff was very friendly with smiles.

My boyfriend, friend, and me ate here and let’s just say we were very disappointed. The meals we ordered were SO small. I ordered chicken nachos with lettuce and tomato and over half of my plate was lettuce. The tomatoes tasted terrible and the chicken was barely warm and tasted like straight can chicken. My friends rice tasted like soap and my boyfriends tacos were so greasy he could barely even eat one taco. Our food was served to us within four minutes, and it’s was barely warm so there’s no way it was fresh. Not to mention we didn’t even finish our meals when our stomachs started feeling terrible. The only good thing we got was our sweet tea and the salsa. Definitely do not recommend.

they took to long to sit us down so we sat our selves down. waiting 30mins for someone to ask us what drink we wanted (it’s not even packed ) just a couple of people. we had to ask them to take our order. very slow pace and not caring about the customers . DO NOT RECOMMEND!

Best chips queso and salsa around

Its unlike any Mexican restaurant I've been too it's more a mom and pop place nice and quiet could use some cleaning and staff could be more attentive to their guest. Saw our waitress 1 time a cook brought out the food then had to wait for silverware. Only salt and pepper on the table no hot sauce and the chips and salsa weren't fresh.

Free chips was nice, the dollar charge for water was a surprise. Fajitas we're good but my friends didn't like their food much. Would not go again.
